My first thought is, "am I already on my fifth rambling?" My second thought is, "I haven't bored anyone yet?" It's been a couple of nights since I have sat and written anything. Mostly because Jason started his home business this week and (love him) he has been on the net all the time!!! He can't quit looking at his website and checking for orders. Who could blame him! His website looks great and I myself kept looking at my Ebay listings when I was selling online. He has done so well already! I think once the word really gets out there, he will do even better. So since I haven't written, I have been racking my brain trying to think of all of the neat things my little angels have done the last few days. I can honestly say, I have a short memory now and I can't remember half of what I would like to write. Is that the fact that each pregnancy takes away a portion of your memory, or is it that my age is affecting it? I guess I could blame it on both! It's official! Both twins can now roll from their belly to their back. And it all happens when they are in their cribs and I haven't seen either one of them do it yet! Isn't that the way it would have to be. Bailey found her feet Sunday. She has had her feet in the air ever since! She even rubs a little red spot on her leg where she tries so hard to hold them. She is such a happy baby now. She was so fussy early on. Not a colic type of fussy, more of an uncomfortable fuss. Now she is oohing and cooing and since she hasn't learned to reach yet, she dances all over herself to get you to pick her up. She really is a doll.Bradley has started standing with help and sitting up with help a lot better these days. He has been a little more wobbly at these tasks than Bailey. I haven't seen him find his feet yet, but I am sure it won't be long. One thing Bradley has over Bailey is his ability to eat. Okay, Bailey can suck it down at a fast pace, but she still tries to suck the spoon as if it were her bottle. Bradley is opening his mouth as soon as he sees the spoon! They both absolutely LOVE sweet potatoes and bananas. Green beans, which were Kimber's favorite, haven't hit very high on the list yet. And smiles....You don't have to do much to get a smile out of him. If you just look his direction, he opens up that mouth and gives you the biggest toothless grin. Speaking of teeth. I haven't seen any yet. I think Kimber didn't get her first tooth until she was about 9 months old. I guess the possibility is there that they will be the same way. I don't know where to begin with Kimber. She has recently discovered a new technique for attention. Last week she came to me several times in one day saying, "Mommy, I siiick." I worried. All day. She has a VSD (heart murmur) and she has to see a Cardiologist for it. I always worry that she may feel something and not know how to tell us about it. So, I babied her and watched her like a hawk all day. She continued to do this for a couple of days. I finally figured out that if she says, "I siiick" and you ask her about it....she says, "Yeah, I sick." and then she climbs up in your lap just after you scold her for misbehaving..............you got it..........She is using it for attention!!!!! Smart little booger isn't she! Recently I have thought about losing a finger or two! I know. That sounds harsh. But, she is going to pull one off trying to "MAKE" me follow her to her room. No hand is safe in my house! I love it though really. Another really cute thing she did the other day. I want it on video so bad! Bailey and Bradley of course need belly time. And they are doing so well pushing up on their hands. Keep in mind they are still too young to push up on their knees. Kimber watches a Disney cartoon called, "Jo Jo's Circus." In this cartoon, Jo Jo and her pet lion, Goliath, walk on all fours saying, "Boom, Boom, Boom." Kimber has been doing this up and down the hallway for about a week now. The other day, Kimber saw Bailey on the floor pushed up on her hands. She looked at her, got on all fours and said, "sissy, walk..Boom, Boom, Boom." I could have died laughing. I tried to explain to her that brother and sister can't do those things yet. But try to convince a 2 year old that. We all know that 2 year olds say the cutest things. I have been trying to keep a list of Kimber's cutest mistaken words. Here are a few I can remember.
1. Ana-nana = Banana
2. I wub you = I love you
3. Baby Getti = Spagetti
4. Moobie = Movie
5. Mote = Remote
6. Fick it = Fix it
7. If the tv is off = "Tv boken."
I will have to continue this list tomorrow. I am drawing a blank and there are a TON of cute ones I am not thinking of. Maybe we can make it a Survey to pass around. I am sure most of you Moms can think of the cutest things your babies said when they were little. Plus, Jason just woke up and ordered me to bed.Until another night. God Bless all of you !
